REI HENDERSON Our safety crew will be setting up the buoys at Boulder Beach throughout the day. You are welcome to swim, but please stay inside the white buoy line. 7:45 am Mandatory Kayaker & Swimmer Safety Meeting (at shore line) 8:00 am 2.4 & Super Slam USMS Swimmers Start 8:01 am 2.4 & Super Slam YOUTH Swimmers Start 11:00 am Course closes for all swimmers. SPECTATORS WELCOME!- Feel free to spend a day at the beach! Pack it in and pack it out. Bring chairs, pop-up tents, umbrellas lunch and drinks. There are no concessions at the beach. Water/drinks/lunch are for participants only. Tips for a great day!

-The BEST bathroom facility in the park is at the Boulder Beach turnoff at the top of the road. Clean flush toilets and sinks. (There are porto-potties near the race start, but there could be lines.) Plan ahead! -It's a desert out here! Even though you're in the water, plan to start hydrating at least 3 days before. Drink water water water. -Zinc oxide is your friend! Just don't cover your race # with it! -Please wear your swim cap until you have exited the water. |
